Birkin Bag e non solo, la moda vintage va all’asta

Il 12 febbraio saranno battute borse e accessori di Hermes, Louis Vuitton e altre grandi maison. Tra i lotti anche la mitica Birkin Bag.

Ci sono accessori diventati molto più che semplici articoli di moda. Ma vere e proprie icone, oggetti scolpiti nell’immaginario comune, in alcuni casi autentici riferimenti della cultura pop.

Un esempio per tutti: l’inossidabile Birkin Bag di Hermès.

Creata negli anni Ottanta da Jean-Louis Dumas in omaggio alla musa del cinema e della canzone francese di cui porta il nome e divenuta negli anni, oltre che l’oggetto del desiderio per milioni di donne.

Uno status symbol capace di far parlare di sé nei contesti più diversi.

Da un’indimenticabile puntata di “Sex and the City” in cui Samantha si appropria con l’inganno di quella destinata all’attrice Lucy Liu. Fino ai riflettori dei media internazionali in occasione del discusso addio di Melania Trump alla Casa Bianca, appena qualche settimana fa.

Non è un caso che proprio diversi esemplari di Birkin bag, valutati alcune migliaia di euro, siano fra i lotti più interessanti della nuova asta a tempo di Pandolfini.

Aperta ieri e in corso fino a venerdì prossimo, 12 febbraio. Sul sito dell’azienda fiorentina www.pandolfini.it, con esposizione aperta al pubblico a Palazzo Ramirez Montalvo fino a martedì in orario 10-18 (domani 10-13; prenotazione consigliata allo 055-2340888 o scrivendo a info@pandolfini.it).

Un appuntamento, dal titolo “Vintage: borse di Hermes, Louis Vuitton e altre grandi maison”, con cui la casa d’aste di borgo Albizi inaugura il dipartimento “Luxury Vintage fashion”.

Nuovo arrivato in un’offerta già variegata che spazia dall’arte moderna e contemporanea alle auto classiche, dall’archeologia ai vini pregiati, dai gioielli ai dipinti e le sculture antiche.

Pensata per rispondere non solo ai desideri delle vittime del fashion, ma anche alle ambizioni dei collezionisti e di chiunque sia interessato a un piccolo investimento senza tempo.

La nuova asta conta fra i pezzi di maggior pregio proprio le borse Hermès: accanto alla Birkin bag, la “sorella” Kelly, altra grande “it-bag” del marchio francese. Creata nel 1956 per nascondere, con le sue grandi dimensioni, la gravidanza della principessa di Monaco, anch’essa presente in diverse varianti.

Non possono poi mancare gli articoli di pelletteria con l’inconfondibile monogramma di Louis Vuitton. Sacche da viaggio, valigie, borse a mano, portagioielli e portadocumenti con valutazione di partenza di alcune centinaia di euro.

Splendide pochette di Gucci e di Yves Saint Laurent.

Borse dello storico marchio ginevrino De Grisogono e infine i foulard, accessorio iconico degli anni Sessanta e Settanta da tempo tornato prepotentemente alla ribalta.

Anche qui a fare la parte del leone è Hermès col suo carré “Memoire d’Hermès”, che ritrae il fondatore della maison, Thierry, circondato da oggetti d’arte come dipinti, sculture e reperti archeologici.

Ma anche Emilio Pucci, Dolce e Gabbana, Cartier e infine Gucci con il famosissimo “Flora”, disegnato nel 1966 da Vittorio Accornero ancora una volta per Grace Kelly e diventato negli anni un must assoluto.
