Ceretta fai-da-te? Ahi ahi ahi…
Niente pulizia del viso, niente ceretta, niente tinta.
In zona rossa ci siamo state un po’ tutte e con le estetiste chiuse ci siamo dovute arrangiare in casa: su Amazon, però, si può acquistare tutto e su Youtube si può anche imparare a fare di tutto.
Google conferma che in cime alle ricerche del fai da te per la cura della persona in periodo di lockdown ci sono proprio questi trattamenti: maschera per i capelli, seguita dallo scrub, dalla tinta, dalla ceretta e della pulizia del viso.
In preda al panico da ricrescita del ‘pelo’ selvaggia, c’è chi ha deciso semplicemente di far crescere i peli in attesa della riapertura dei saloni o si è lanciata nel fai-da-te ricorrendo al buon vecchio metodo del rasoio con il consiglio della nonna:
“lascia passare una settimana dall’ultima depilazione prima di andare ad un appuntamento così i peli potranno essere estratti più facilmente”.
Le più caute possono optare per creme depilatorie.
Lo svantaggio è che i peli ricrescono in pochi giorni.
Tra tutti i metodi più gettonati, un posto spetta all’epilatore elettrico, utilizzato sopratutto su gambe, ascelle e bikini.
È sicuramente il metodo più veloce con risultati migliori rispetto, per esempio, al rasoio.
Ma non basta.
Se decidi di parlare con le esperte della depilazione devi districarti tra la cera araba, detta anche pasta di zucchero o sugar wax, un metodo naturale, antichissimo e con infiniti benefici oppure ceretta tradizionale in rullo, quella sorta di parallelepipedo rettangolo che, una volta caldo, stende la ceretta sulla parte interessata, o la classica cera calda (con spatola di legno usa e getta), entrambe da strappare poi con delle strisce depilatorie.
E’ chiaro che se decidi di comprarti su Amazon “kit scaldacera”, si apre un mondo: da quelli super professionali con termostato regolabile a quelli che, al posto del barattolino, ti forniscono i “fagioli di cera” di tanti colori, dal “bagno di paraffina per mani, piedi e gomiti morbidi” allo “scalda cera portatile per epilatore per capelli”.
I prezzi variano dai 15 euro, per la cera che si scalda nel microonde ma che trovi pure al supermercato, ai 120.
Sei sicura di ricordarti in quale verso va spalmata la cera e in quale, invece, si strappa?.
Purtroppo no, ma per tutto c’è un rimedio, e si chiama Youtube.
Un mondo pieno di tutorial che vanno dal semplice “Scuola di ceretta, tecniche e regole” al complesso “Ceretta brasiliana per peli corti e duri” fino all’ambiguità di titoli.
Che si tratti di una ceretta o di un rasoio, nel 90% dei casi pare che gli errori vengono commessi dopo la depilazione. Uno tra i più frequenti è quello di non applicare subito dopo essersi depilate una buona crema lenitiva.
Questa aiuta la pelle a riequilibrarsi in breve tempo mantenendosi elastica, evitando inoltre possibili screpolature. Si consigliano creme lenitive contenenti principi naturali come l’aloe o la camomilla.
Un altro errore spesso commesso è quello di esporsi al sole subito dopo la depilazione. L’epidermide dopo una ceretta o un laser risulta essere molto stressata, e un’esposizione ai raggi solari aggiungerebbe stress ulteriore con conseguenti irritazioni.
È preferibile aspettare almeno due giorni prima di prendere la tintarella, anche se di sicuro non è un problema del periodo invernale.
Ultimo consiglio, sempre da web: fai uno scrub, per eliminare le cellule morte e facilitare la rimozione dei peli in eccesso. E peri ritardare la crescita dei peli? Prova il ghiaccio! Sembra che passare un cubetto di ghiaccio sulla pelle dopo la ceretta e nei giorni successivi aiuti.

Ceretta, rasoio, crema, laser… di che depilazione sei?
