Gucci apre gli archivi storici per film con Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga torna sul grande schermo per Ridley Scott, che l’ha voluta per la parte di Patrizia Reggiani nel nuovo, attesissimo The House of Gucci con un cast all star che comprende Al Pacino, Jared Leto, Jeremy Irons.

Il film, che racconta la tragica vicenda dell’omicidio di Maurizio Gucci (Adam Driver), nipote del fondatore della maison Guccio Gucci, uscirà nelle sale americane il 24 novembre 2021, ma le riprese si stanno svolgendo proprio in questi giorni qui in Italia, tra Milano, Roma, il lago di Como, Gressoney Saint-Jean e, naturalmente, Firenze. La data è simbolica perchè rappresenta un secolo esatto dalla data, in cui Guccio Gucci fondò nel 1921 la Maison a Firenze.

Una storia shakespeariana che attraversa le generazioni che hanno guidata l’azienda. Entusiasmi, dolori, atti meschini, slanci nobili, successi e l’omicidio di Maurizio Gucci, avvenuto a Milano la mattina del 27 marzo 1995, la cui mandate fu l’ex moglie Patrizia Reggiani, poi condannata a 26 anni di carcere.

Iniziano a trapelare scatti di ogni genere dei look che sfoggerà Gaga nei panni della signora Gucci. Agli abiti di collezioni attuali identificati finora – Max Mara Studio e Sandro Paris – sono stati affiancati tanti capi vintage, tra cui alcuni trench Burberry e naturalmente una grossa selezione di pezzi firmati dalla maison Gucci della doppia G, che per l’occasione ha dato accesso all’archivio storico per quanto riguarda il guardaroba e gli oggetti di scena, collaborando cosi con MGM e Scott Free Productions. Veri tesori vintage: vestiti, gioielli e oggetti di scena d’epoca.

Il film è tratto dal romanzo The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed (La saga dei Gucci. Una storia sensazionale di omicidio, follia, glamour e avidità) di Sara Gay Forden trasposto per il grande schermo in una sceneggiatura firmata da Roberto Bentivegna.
