L’arte di valorizzare le cicatrici: dal kintsugi alla psicoterapia
Il termine ‘kintsugi’ significa letteralmente “riparare con l’oro“.
Questa pratica orientale consiste nell’utilizzo di metalli preziosi quali oro e argento liquidi, o lacca con polvere d’oro, per ‘saldare’ i frammenti di oggetti in ceramica riparandoli.
La tecnica del kintsugi consente di trasformare degli ‘oggetti rotti’ in ‘oggetti preziosi’ sia da un punto di vista economico (per via della presenza di metalli preziosi) sia da un punto di vista artistico, poiché ogni ceramica riparata si ri-presenta con una nuova veste, un intreccio di linee dorate unico ed irripetibile per la casualità con cui la ceramica si è frantumata.
Secondo questa pratica possiamo considerare ‘l’imperfezione’ di una crepa e di una ferita come un luogo privilegiato da cui può nascere una forma ancora maggiore di perfezione estetica e interiore.
Questa tecnica offre spunti di riflessione più profondi, oltre il ‘riparare un oggetto’: le crepe vengono valorizzate nel riempirle con dell’oro, conferendo all’oggetto che ha subito una ferita e che ha una storia da raccontare di diventare ancora più bello.
L’idea è appunto quella che un oggetto rotto abbia proprio in virtù della sua rottura, una storia, che lo rende più pregiato, un po’ come le cicatrici dei guerrieri che tornano dalle loro battaglie.
La crepa, la ferita, è allora da valorizzare, arricchendola con del materiale altrettanto prezioso proprio per esaltare la storia della sua ricomposizione.
In occidente quando ci si rompe un oggetto mettiamo della colla trasparente, stando molto attenti a celare le linee di rottura.
La differenza di prospettiva culturale è tutta qui: occultare, truccare, mimetizzare l’integrità perduta oppure esaltare e valorizzare la storia e la cura della ricomposizione nella sua nuova bellezza?
Una vera e propria metafora della nostra vita, se ci si pensa: a chi non capita di subire rotture e ferite nel corso del proprio cammino esistenziale?
In Occidente culturalmente si fa fatica ad accettare, a diventare consapevoli e a fare la pace con le proprie crepe tanto del corpo quanto dell’anima.
Le ferite, le spaccature e le fratture sono percepiti come fragilità, imperfezione, additati e colpevolizzati, poiché si pensa in termini duali di o ‘è intatto’ o ‘è rotto’, e se è rotto è colpa di qualcuno.
Se è rotto và buttato o nel caso di una persona ferita viene allontanata.
Nella cultura orientale, ci si orienta alla compresenza degli opposti.
Di fatto smettono di essere tali e fluiscono armoniosamente nella vita.
La vita porta insieme integrità e rottura, ri-composizione e costante mutamento.
Così anche per le persone che hanno sofferto ed hanno ferite nel corpo e dell’anima è possibile valorizzare le proprie cicatrici acquisendo una nuova bellezza e preziosità.
Il dolore, la sofferenza è parte della vita, se impariamo a sentirlo e a riconoscerlo in primo luogo insegna, dice che si è vivi.
Poi, elaborato passa e lascia cambiati, a volte più forti, a volte più saggi.
In tutti i casi lascia un segno.
Elaborare una ferita è un procedimento lento, e che necessita cura, pazienza e amore, ma garantisce risultati imprevisti e bellissimi, e può rivelare aspetti nascosti e forme nuove e affascinanti.
Così si scopre che da un’imperfezione, da una crepa, può ‘come per magia’ nascere una forma nuova, unica e ancora maggiore, di perfezione estetica.
Proprio come le nostre vite.
Le “persone” che hanno sofferto possono diventare ancor più preziose.
I giapponesi che hanno inventato il Kintsugi lo hanno compreso più di sei secoli fa e lo ricordano sottolineandolo con l’oro.
