Met Gala 2021: celebrità, tappeto rosso, fashion e molto altro
Definito affettuosamente “la più grande serata fuori moda”, il Met Gala 2021 è un’iniziativa di raccolta fondi per il Metropolitan Museum of Art di New York City.
L’evento accoglie star, giovani creativi e campioni del settore. Il Costume Institute ospiterà la sua prima mostra in due parti, sul tema della moda americana, nel 2021 e nel 2022.
La prima parte, “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion”, si aprirà all’Anna Wintour Costume Center il 18 settembre 2021 , e resterà in mostra quando “In America: An Anthology of Fashion”, inaugura il 5 maggio 2022 nelle sale d’epoca dell’American Wing. Entrambi gli spettacoli dureranno fino al 5 settembre 2022.
Il Met Gala si tiene in genere il primo lunedì di maggio, ma quest’anno l’evento è stato posticipato a causa di COVID-19 e cade proprio nel bel mezzo del mese della moda, il che significa che la posta in gioco per lo stile stellare sul tappeto rosso è particolarmente alta ora.
