Haute couture 2021: Fendi presenta la sua collezione
L’età non conta e non è un detto. Kim Jones, direttore artistico della maison romana Fendi, già firma di Dior, debutta nell’Alta Moda mettendo in scena un evento che celebra la bellezza a ogni età.
E’ una collezione dal sapore romantico, omaggio all’artigianalità di casa Fendi.
La sfilata è ambientata nella sala del Palais Bronginiart e vede come protagoniste in passerella il ritorno delle super modelle: dalla venere nera Naomi Campbell a Bella Hadid, da Kate Moss con la figlia diciottenne Lila Grace, a Demi Moore a sorpresa in apertura della sfilata.
Il suo è un look molto rigoroso: completo pantalone di seta nera dalla scollatura antica, con dei pendenti faraonici che raggiungono i seni, i polsini come camelie nere. Proprio su di lei sono fioccati insulti, più che critiche, forse, per qualche ritocchino di troppo.
Le giovani modelle dovrebbero imparare da queste star che la grazia, il portamento e la raffinatezza non si compra, e la vera bellezza non svanisce con l’età.
Sfilano abiti lunghi con lo strascico, rose ricamate sulle cappe, abiti con mantelle, perle, trasparenze, incursioni di abiti maschili, vestaglie drappeggiate e abiti da sera decorati da pregiate sfere di Murano.
Nulla è lasciato al caso in questa sfilata, le acconciature dal sapore retrò sono parte integrante del look, insieme a dei gioielli stile vittoriano e stivali pitonati.
La sfilata si chiude con lei, la super modella nera di sempre, Naomi Campbell. Non ha proprio nulla da invidiare alle giovani top model e sfila con un abito lungo e mantella, come una regina.
Kim Jones, la star dell’evento, raccoglie l’eredità di Karl Lagerfeld che per decenni ha guidato la direzione creativa di Fendi.
Si ispira per questa sfilata alla letteratura di Virginia Woolf, una scrittrice che si è sempre battuta per i diritti delle donne e per la parità dei sessi, e al suo romanzo “Orlando”, la storia di un uomo capace di viaggiare tra genere maschile e femminile.
L’abito simbolo è quello del vestito lungo con la giacca maschile appoggiato sopra una spalla, sintesi dei due generi.
Le modelle, infatti, in questa sfilata hanno abiti metà femminili e metà maschili, i modelli avevano il rossetto rosso.
Il set della sfilata è fatto da pareti di plexiglass, scaffali di libri, pavimenti erbosi, il tutto sotto forma di labirinto.
Le modelle non escono dalla passerella, ognuna trova il suo posto, la sua dimensione all’interno di una teca di vetro, rimangono immobili come delle statue all’interno di un museo, pronunciando solo la parola Fendi.
